Love your hair in this video!!
How do you know your cult potential? I’ve started the CGM a little while ago and it looks much curlier wet than dry. And when I look at other girls their wet hair is less curly than mine but when it dries its curlier. So maybe I’m just being too hopeful regarding how curly my hair can get. Can you already tell the curly pattern when transitioning?
Great tips, it can be very hard transitioning. We just have to focus on the end result = healthy hair 🙂
somehow my hair curl up on the ends but not the roots…. anyone?
Yes please do a video for hairstyles during transitioning, I'm struggling so much with my hair and I feel ugly a lot because of my hair lol I know that sounds dumb but it's true!
anything I do it overmoisterises my hair and it makes it heavy/oily
ps I dont use silicones or sulfates. and I have 2c 3a hair
any tips?
I want your banggggs!! HOWWW????and how did you get this wavy style hair?
Please do your full hair care routine for the look of your hair in this video. It's beautiful!
Definitely would watch a video about hairstyles for transitioning
Just what I needed, Im transitioning and my graduation is next week and Im low key freaking out because I dont think I can make my hair look great… the will be lots of pictures taken.
Does anyone know how to help with hair that has ringlet curls in the front around the face and on the under parts but like waves in the back
I actually didn't went through this phase because I got a very very short pixie cut haha and then it grew out healthy and curlier than ever. But I understand not every woman has the courage to do it. My 15 year old self was tired of hair and wanted to be different.
hi
I was wondering if you like the Shea moisture green coconut and activated charcoal line ( from the overnight routine ) or the not your mothers activated charcoal and purple moonstone ( from the drugstore routine ) more. Also do you know if there are any DevaCurl deals ( I’m a a budget ) and I really want to try DevaCurl but I can’t spend 80 dollars just for shampoo and conditioner. Basically do you have any products or product lines you would recommend to someone on a budget. Thanks
What about olaplex?
I would love to see a video on you trying a Denman Brush. I have similar hair and am curious what results you would get. 🙂
You look gorgggggg in this video
I like this, simple and to the point. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
I had keratin treated hair before I got the big chop. Even after the big chop, I noticed that my hair would split all the way up to my roots and break off (thanks to all the heat damage over the years). So there I was, growing this broken hair with tapered damaged ends. I had my hair chemically straightened/heat styled for over 5 years. Since I was 14. I forgot what my natural hair in all its glory looked like. I shaved my head 4 months ago. And now, I have these tiny curls on my head. Thick and luscious. I can’t wait for them to grow longer, so that I can put on some CG goodness and treat them the way they deserve to be treated.Damage is irreversible. You gotta cut it off before it reaches your roots or have an extremely gentle routine with proper moisturising, sealing and strengthening. It’s like temporary fillings though. Ones the fillings are out, your hair is in all its evil form again. Shaving your head like me isn’t for everyone. But as your hair grows out, it’s important to get regular trims and get rid of the damaged hair eventually. The gelatin treatment and rice water rinse worked wonders during my transitioning phase. Moisture and protein balance is the most important factor during this time. My hair surprisingly would feel very moisturised but feel mushy. I would also use the olaplex No.3 treatment to repair my weakened hair.
A good way to reuse your leftover silicone based conditioner is to use it as shaving cream or a conditioner for body hair.
Natural Shampoo and conditioner please!!
If I have time I air dry my hair in rollers it straightens and stretches my curls without getting the heat damage
Luckily when I was starting to transition I quit straighting my hair, but I would occasionally curl it with a curling iron for like special events. I was just irresponsible with hair products and shampoo and conditioner i used a lot of silicone, alcohol and some sulfates so, my hair looked weighed down and I started to loose its shape. Transition is weird cause my hair is just absorbing everything now that I removed all the bad gunk out of my hair. It’s super shiny, but my curls are all over the place and not as tamed. It’s weird
Do you have any videos on how to use the deva clips for volume? Great video !
I love how your hair looks in here. It's so messy but elegant and soft. I want mine like yours someday.
Do a video showing your hair without any products
Do you color your hair?
Loooove your videos! Super inspired to cut bangs similar to yours; would love a video on how you style your bangs! Do you add the same product to them than the rest of your hair?
Have you cute the fringe yourself ? Can you say how to make?
I'm a kid and haven't use heat in my hair more than 10 times also I have never colored my hair so I think I am going into the cgm with pretty healthy hair.
I figured you that if you do a heatless curl style one day ( like braids or a bun ) to get your hair out of sight that day you will be able to have good curls one day and you can have your hair up when you want. Basically you can wear heatless curl styles as normal style
you are so gorgeous
I have been on and off the CGM for a little while now but the bottom layer of my hair refuses to curl in any way and stays poker straight despite the fact that some of my hair on above layers can even get up to like 3a curls. Do you have any experience with this, and if so will it begin to curl the more consistent I am with the CGM?
Your hair in this video looks exactly like my hair , flat roots and wavy mids/ends but with alot more frizz, and i REALLY REALLY wanna make my hair looks like yours in the other videos, curly bouncy and not frizzy , I don’t have a damaged hair and I don’t use heat ever and use curly products and all but I don’t know when is it going to be curly or less frizzy at least
I love your hair in this video!
I’ve been transitioning for a year and my hair is curlier now. It’s definitely taking awhile
Any suggestions for good deep conditioners?
How about hair spa treatment? Is it also harmful for curls
I started the Curly Girl Routine a while ago and I feel like my hair is worse. I stopped using heat completely (whenever I curled/straightened my hair it would be soft & shiny)
Now it’s frizzy, it just looks so ugly idk what to do with it? I tried using oils but they don’t help either. Also, my hair isn’t that damaged because I got a trim before starting this routine. I think my hair is just naturally frizzy (that’s why I always straightened it)
I honestly don’t know what to do at this point? My hair looks and feels worse :/ I feel so uncomfortable with my natural hair
No way in heck am I going out on a Saturday night with my hair transitioning. Ugh. I'll curl one night a week on low heat.
